Time is flying!!

Well believe it or not Kennedy turned 3 weeks old yesterday!!  We are already out growing newborn clothes!!  It makes me sad, but i have a lot of 0-3 month clothes i am ready for her to wear!  She has had a cold since Friday.  Its so sad!  She cries every time she coughs so i know her throat hurts.  I hate watching her be sick:( Breaks my heart! Needless to say I haven't been sleeping well.  She woke up every 2hours Saturday night and has trouble breathing through her stuffy nose.  We called our pediatrician Saturday morning and he told us what to give her.  We go see him at 2 today, cant wait to see how much she has grown!!  I think she weighs 10lbs!  A Healthy growing girl!!  We are so happy!!  Everyone says "oh i just love her so much!" well multiply how much they all love her by a million and that's how much Peyton and I love her!!  He wants me to go to the Hog game in little rock Saturday, but i don't know if I'm ready to leave her.  Especially with her being sick, if shes still sick there is no way I'm going.  We will see how she is doing.  We went to des arc this past Saturday for a wedding and these are some pics from it.  She looked so cute, but didn't feel good! :(  Then we watched the Hogs Beat Tenn. Tech!!  Love football season!  And the Hogs are going to be awesome this year!!  Our newborn pictures should be up today!:) I'm so ready to see them!  Ill put the link on here when they get up on the website!  She is getting stronger with her head, and moves all the time! She also seems to be able to see more now. She stares at people like she is trying to figure them out!  Peyton and I were rocking her last night, and she was looking at Peyton's shoulder, we said she was looking at her brothers!  I know they will be her guardian angels!  What a lucky little girl to have two guardian angels!  They might also be her imaginary friends! Who knows!  Miss those boys, but i know they are being loved on by all our loved ones in heaven!!  Someday we will have our complete little family in heaven!  That will be a wonderful time!  Well i will update on how she is doing and what the doctor says later.  And the picture link!  Cant wait! Kimber did an awesome job! BTW the pic of her and i was last Sunday when we took her to church for the first time.  She did great!  We missed this Sunday bc she was sick, but this coming Sunday we will be at Des Arc First United Methodist Church and they are throwing us a shower at 2pm.  So glad all the wonderful people in our lives get to meet her!  We have all prayed so hard for her to be ours and now we all get to celebrate!!

She is FINALLY HERE!!:)

Well Kennedy Reese Harvey is a week and one day old today!!  This past week has been the best week of our lives!!  We love her more than we could have ever imagined we would!!  She is a wonderful baby!  She has been waking us up about twice a night, which we think is awesome!  Lastnight was a little rough, she was really fussy from 10-12, but then slept til 430, feed her and changed her and she slept til 830!  If that is as bad as it gets we will be fine!lol  We will hopefully go to court late next week.  That will make everything legal.  The birth mom's parental rights were up yesterday, but to make it official we have to go to court.  Pray that all goes well and we get in pretty quick.  Today is peyton's first day back to work:(  He has been such a great help, we didnt want him to go back and he definately didnt want to go back!  I am sure every customer has had to look at his brag book this morning!lol He is a very proud daddy!  We couldnt be happier!!  We are getting some pictures made Thursday!  So ready to see how they turn out!  The funny thing is people keep saying Kennedy looks like Peyton!  It is so funny how God works!  He is an awesome God and we are so blessed!!  Here are some pics of her birth and first week.  We have taken about 300 pics!lol  Thank you everyone for all the prayers!!  We serve an awesome God!!

due date has come and gone

Well it is two days past the due date, and no baby yet!  We went to the dr yesterday, she was dilated 1 and effaced alot.  The doctor stripped away the membrane to get things started.  If she doesnt have her by monday, he will induce at 7am.  We are praying she comes today or tomorrow.  We are so ready!!  She also signed the relinquishment, waving her last 5 days, so she will have 5 business days after the birth to change her mind.  We just have to keep praying and trusting God that everything will work out!  Thanks for all the prayers!  I will try to update this when we go to the hospital, but i cant make any promises.  I will update my facebook status, so check there!

Baby Update

Well we went to the doctor yesterday, 39 1/2 weeks, and not dilated ANY!!  We are so ready for Kennedy to be born and bring her home!!  The birthmom is also ready to have her, with 100+ degree weather and swelling feet and hands.  Also she asked to be induced because she needs to have time to recover so she can start school.  But the doctor doesnt want to induce unless he has to, we go back tuesday(40 weeks) and if no baby by Sunday the 15th, then he will induce that night at 9pm.  So we just sit and wait for either a call saying she is in labor, or the 15th.lol  We are praying she comes this weekend, her due date is Monday and she will have 5 business days to change her mind, so if we start on a monday, she will be ours on friday!:)  Anyway, she will make her appearence when she gets ready, we will just be waiting for her until that day!  I will try to post more often!  I have been keeping busy, but im ready!!!!!!

Ok so today was my last day at St Vincent!!  I am sad because I will miss everyone and I will miss my job, but hopefully I will be home with a sweet baby girl in 3 weeks!!  It is almost time!!  We are ready and waiting for the call.  The birthmom is leaving for Florida tomorrow morning, and will be 37weeks monday!  We are scared to death she will have the baby while there or on the way there.  But there is nothing we can do, we just have to pray she doesnt have her until she gets back next weekend.  We appreciate all the prayers and just ask that everyone continue to pray!

She loves her hands!  We had to work very hard to get pics of her face bc her hands were in the way!  She has super chubby cheeks!!  She weighs almost 6lbs and is very long!  We had a great time and can't wait to see her in a month!!  Still praying all goes well!!
