   Christmas Eve

  Grant with the Christmas tree
Well we had a wonderful Christmas this year! We are VERY BLESSED! We got WAY too many gifts as did Grant, but we love all of them.  I had to work Christmas Eve, and the night before it rained so much that the roads were all flooded.  It took a long time to get to work through all the water but i made it.  We had church in Des Arc that night and then dinner and presents at Lollie and Pops.  Then Santa Clause came Christmas morning and brought Grant a fire truck!  Off to Granny and Papas for breakfast and presents, Harvey's for lunch and Southhaven, MS for supper and to stay the night with Nonnie and Poppie.  We went back to des arc for christmas with my mom's family Saturday night and finally made it back to searcy around10pm Saturday.  Lots of eating, visiting, and driving but we had a very Merry Christmas.  We made our first trip to the hospital this morning.  I have been having headaches the last couple weeks, so we have been checking my blood pressure.  This morning it was 146/85 before church, and when we got home it was 150/92.  So Peyton called the doctor and he said for me to go get checked out at the hospital.  They hooked me and Grant up to monitors and watched me for an hour.  My blood pressure went down and he was fine.  He got the hiccupps which sounded funny on the monitor.lol  But they just told me to rest a lot and follow up with the doctor.  We go tomorrow for our 30week checkup so I'm going to talk to him about the bp and swelling, my ankles are swelling a lot.  Anyway, I'll keep everyone updated.  May have to quit work a little sooner than i had thought but whatever is best for Grant!  Hope everyone had a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! 2010 is going to be a great year! Cant wait til March!!!!!  Which reminds me we have SO much to do in the next 10 weeks!

28weeks

Well I am now 28 weeks! I cant believe he will be here in 12 weeks! Kinda nervous but i know God will let everything be ok and peyton and i will be ready when he arrives.  We went to the dr last week, i passed my glucose test and dr citty said everything looks great.  We had an ultrasound, but Grant didnt act up for us so we didnt get very good pictures.  I had a girl at work do one Saturday and the pictures were much better.  We had a christmas party at our house sunday with our community group.  Everyone had a great time!  Then monday i went Olive Garden with Amy and Hollie to celebrate Amy's 23 birthday.  We had a good time and of course took some pics.lol  Well Christmas celebrations start Sunday.  We go to Conway this Sunday, work monday-thursday, Thursday is Christmas Eve so church in des arc and then dinner at Peyton's parents, Christmas morning breakfast at Granny and Papas, lunch ath the Harvey's, and supper at my dad's.  Then saturday night at my aunt Bev's.  Busy busy week!!!  Hope everyone has a Merry Christmas!!!!

Grant's Room is coming together!

Well since the furniture came in 8weeks before it was supposed to, we stored it for a couple weeks until we got the room painted.  Peyton and Nick put it together lastnight, which we thought was going to be a lot of work, but actually didnt take but about an hour.  It looks really good!  I'm not sure where all the pictures and stuff will go, need a cover for the recliner and big pics for the walls.  But well figure it out in the next 15weeks.  Wow 15 weeks and he will be here!!  That is crazy!!  He has been moving a lot more lately and different movement.  Used to it was just a kick or hit, now i feel like a leg drags across my belly.  It feels funny but it is a great feeling.  The other night i was asleep on my right side, i woke up and turned over to my left side, he kicked me really hard!  I guess he liked the other side!lol  Cant wait for him to get here!  The books say he weighs 2 pounds and is 9inches long! We go to doctor again on Dec 10th and get ultrasound so we will probably know how he is growing then.  Also there are pics from the game saturday.  It was a nice day for a game, not hot and not cold, just right! We are 25 weeks this week!
