   Christmas Eve

  Grant with the Christmas tree
Well we had a wonderful Christmas this year! We are VERY BLESSED! We got WAY too many gifts as did Grant, but we love all of them.  I had to work Christmas Eve, and the night before it rained so much that the roads were all flooded.  It took a long time to get to work through all the water but i made it.  We had church in Des Arc that night and then dinner and presents at Lollie and Pops.  Then Santa Clause came Christmas morning and brought Grant a fire truck!  Off to Granny and Papas for breakfast and presents, Harvey's for lunch and Southhaven, MS for supper and to stay the night with Nonnie and Poppie.  We went back to des arc for christmas with my mom's family Saturday night and finally made it back to searcy around10pm Saturday.  Lots of eating, visiting, and driving but we had a very Merry Christmas.  We made our first trip to the hospital this morning.  I have been having headaches the last couple weeks, so we have been checking my blood pressure.  This morning it was 146/85 before church, and when we got home it was 150/92.  So Peyton called the doctor and he said for me to go get checked out at the hospital.  They hooked me and Grant up to monitors and watched me for an hour.  My blood pressure went down and he was fine.  He got the hiccupps which sounded funny on the monitor.lol  But they just told me to rest a lot and follow up with the doctor.  We go tomorrow for our 30week checkup so I'm going to talk to him about the bp and swelling, my ankles are swelling a lot.  Anyway, I'll keep everyone updated.  May have to quit work a little sooner than i had thought but whatever is best for Grant!  Hope everyone had a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! 2010 is going to be a great year! Cant wait til March!!!!!  Which reminds me we have SO much to do in the next 10 weeks!
