IT'S A BOY!!!
So last Thursday we went to the doctor and found out we are having a boy! We are so very excited! His name will be Grant Peyton Harvey. The docotor said everything looks great, i have gained 6 lbs and measuring 20 wks. Of course the first thing i did was order bedding!lol It came in yesterday and now i have to decide on color to paint the room. Now we are half way there! I cant believe time is flying so fast, it seemed like we would never make it to 20 wks. I feel him moving a lot during the day, mostly when its time to eat, eating, or after i eat. Guess he likes to eat!lol It is such a blessing and we thank God everyday for letting us experience this. We go back to the dr the 12th of Nov for 5 month check up and hopefully things will continue to go great. I got my H1N1 Vaccine yesterday, a lot of people wrote on facebook they didnt think it was safe for pregnant woman but here is why i got it, this is what the CDC says:Officials say pregnant women are six times more likely than average to contract swine flu. They appear to be susceptible because pregnancy weakens the immune system and their blood and oxygen is diminished while sharing with the baby. The vaccine is made the same way as all flu vaccines for decades, and should be just as safe. They generally cause mild reactions, such as arm soreness, low-grade fevers, cold-like symptoms and tiredness. The type of shots given to pregnant women and children are free of thimerosal, a mercury-containing preservative that some women fear.” Everyone is to make their own decision but I am at a hospital 4 days a week with a lot of sick people and will most definitely get H1N1 if I don’t protect myself and Grant. Most pregnant woman have died and their babies when they got the swine flu. I cant take a chance. Hope everyone has a good week. We are throwing a baby shower for some friends of ours Saturday, and I cant wait to watch the Hogs take on Ole Miss!! Go Hogs!! Ill post pics of ultrasound and bedding soon!
